FOOD PANTRY
The CPC Food Pantry continues its ministry to provide food to our neighbors residing in Edison Twp. We ask you to bring along some form of proof of residency when you come. Our regular hours are 9am-11am Tuesdays and Thursdays. No appointment is necessary. We try to give each participant items that they will use through an assortment of canned goods, pasta, rice, and a choice among frozen meats or poultry. NJ 211 Helpline (Website: https://www.nj211.org) provides live assistance 24 hours a day, every day of the year.The services are free, confidential and multilingual. They provide assistance in a wide range of categories: Financial Assistance, Food, Clothing/Household, Housing/Shelter, Healthcare, Government, Mental Health, Addictions, Support Groups, Crisis, Suicide Prevention and Support, Family/Parenting, Education, Employment, Transportation, Legal, Special Populations, etc. There is a 211 app.
FindHelp (website: https://www.findhelp.org/) provides information on help organizations based on zip code. Categories are Food, Housing, Goods, Transit, Health, Money, Care, Education, Work, and Legal. There is a FindHelp app.
Rutgers Health #RutgersWeCare (serving Middlesex County) provides help with calling 211, finding housing, obtaining a permanent mailing address, applying for a free cell phone, applying to employment services, applying for SNAP, Medicaid, WIC, etc., connecting to mental health or substance use services, etc.
